Bringing Clean Water To Pulau Teluk Renjuna
For more than 20 years, around 3,000 residents across roughly 200 households on Pulau Teluk Renjuna — an island in Tumpat, Kelantan reachable only by boat — relied on murky river water for washing, bathing and daily use, as the village's piped water pressure was too weak to depend on.
In July 2025, RPG Green Technology (Rimbun Prima Global) partnered with NGO Yayasan Infaq Infra Malaysia to fund and build a RM60,000 solar-powered water pump house on the island — running entirely off-grid on a 3kW solar system paired with a 5kWh lithium battery, alongside a 500-litre rainwater harvesting system. The facility is capable of delivering up to 1,000 gallons of clean, filtered water a day.
“We're truly grateful for this facility — it's a big deal for us, after relying on river water for so long.”
Paudin Yunus, 69, resident of Pulau Teluk Renjuna
The pump house was officially handed over at a ceremony at Masjid Al-Ahmadiah on the island, and now supplies clean water directly to island households for the first time — ending a wait residents describe as more than two decades long.

Partner Visits & Milestones
Official Visit From LV TOPSUN Guangdong
We were honoured to welcome the Deputy General Manager of LV TOPSUN, Guangdong, together with his team, to RPG Solar & RWH for an official visit to Malaysia.
LV TOPSUN manufactures the battery systems behind our hybrid solar packages, so this wasn't just a courtesy call — it was a working session between the people who build the equipment and the team that installs and stands behind it in your home. Conversations like these are how we stay close to the product, ahead of any changes to spec or warranty terms, and confident in what we're putting on your roof.
Runner-Up, National Energy Awards 2026
RPG Green Technology was named Runner-Up in the Renewable Energy (Off-Grid Power) category at the National Energy Awards 2026, organised under the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation.
The award recognised the same CSR project featured above: a 31 kWp off-grid solar system with a 5 kWh battery, delivering clean water collection, treatment and distribution to the island community of Pulau Teluk Renjuna, Tumpat, Kelantan. We're proud of the recognition — and even more so of what it represents.
Factory Visit To Deye, Guangdong
Our team visited Deye's headquarters and exhibition hall in Guangdong, China — the manufacturer behind the hybrid inverters in our solar packages.
Seeing the manufacturing and quality-control process up close is part of how we stay confident in the equipment we put on Malaysian roofs, and keeps us in step with the people who build it.
SolaX Power Names RPG Solar A Rising Star Installer
During a visit to SolaX Power's facility, RPG Solar was recognised as a Rising Star Installer (June 2026) — a certification SolaX awards to authorised partners for installation quality and service consistency.
It's a mark of the training our team puts into every SolaX-powered install, from a manufacturer we work with directly rather than through a middleman.
Solar For Ummah
Through our Solar For Ummah initiative, RPG Solar held a community briefing on affordable rooftop solar financing — walking attendees through how mosques and households can go solar without needing to pay the full cost upfront.
It's part of a broader push to make solar accessible beyond just those who can afford it outright, one community conversation at a time.
